St. Michaels R.C. Head of the River Time Trial 2017

This Saturday, February 25th, sees the peak of Rowing Ireland’s winter calendar with St. Michaels Head of the River taking place in O’Briensbridge, Co. Clare. The Head of the River, now in it’s 36th year, has moved from a date in December to February to reduce the risk of adverse weather. You might think that the weather has not been great so far this year but in rowing terms we are flood free. The UL Ladies football team stormed into the semi-finals of the 2017 O’Connor Cup after an impressive 11-point victory over a strong UCC team in the 4G pitch in UL this Wednesday afternoon. Due to adverse weather conditions, the match was moved to the 4G Pitch as Pitch 1 was unplayable.
