Crescent College Comprehensive and St Munchins to play at Markets Field

Two of the giants of Limerick School Rugby, Crescent College Comprehensive and St. Munchins College, have agreed to come together to play each other to raise much needed funds for Charity.

The schools will play each other for a cup in honour of two former Games Masters, who by coincidence, coached against each other, the late Dudley Herbert and the late Sean Conneally.

The inaugural match will take place in the Markets Field on Friday 15th December 2017 with kick-off at 6.30pm. Both schools have set up an organising group within each school and are eagerly looking forward to the event.

The two well-known charities that will benefit from the Dudley Herbert-Sean Conneally Cup are Simon Community and the Peter McVerry Trust who do much good and necessary work within Limerick

A good crowd is anticipated to witness the launch of this Cup for such worthy causes.
