Dave Kilcoyne and Jack O’Donoghue called into Ireland squad for Italy clash

Munster frontrow Dave Kilcoyne has re-joined the squad while backrow Jack O’Donoghue will also train with the squad ahead of the Six Nations encounter with Italy.

Kilcoyne was initially forced to withdraw from the squad ahead of the campaign opener, as the Munster prop injured his knee during the province’s Champions Cup victory over Castres at Thomond Park last month.

Josh van der Flier has been ruled out for the rest of the season having picked up a knee injury in the win over France in Paris.

While Andrew Conway will continue his rehab at Munster this week, James Cronin has also returned to Limerick, to feature for Munster in the Guinness Pro14 this weekend.
