Four changes made to Irish Womens team to play Wales

Ireland Women’s Rugby head coach Adam Griggs has named his side to take on Wales in the third round of the Womens Six Nations this Sunday February 25th at 3pm in Donnybrook stadium.

Grigg’s has made 4 changes to his team that bet Italy 21-8 in their second round game two weeks ago. Leah Lyons and Ciara O’Connor start alongside former Dublin Footballer Lindsey Peat in the front row.

Munster and UL Bohemians Ciara Griffin who captains the side moves to the blindside while Claire Molloy and Paula Fitzpatrick complete the back row. Nichola Fryday and Orla Fitzsimons take up the second row positions.

Munster and and also UL Bohemians Niamh Briggs who will receive here 60th cap and Alison Hughes are named in the half backs while Katie Fitzhenry and Sene Naoupu are named at centre.

Clare McLoughlin is the only change in the back line as she comes in to replace Alison Miller who picked up an injury against Italy. Kim Flood and Megan Williams complete the back line.

Munster and UL Bohemians back Nicole Cronin is named on the bench.
