The 26-year-old Irish hooker has passed his medical exams. He is therefore committed with the FCG as medical joker of Arnaud Heguy.
Irish under 20 international, Casey, has played 52 games with Munster since 2013.
The Shannon clubman has struggled with injury throughout his career and has made the move to France in search of regular first team rugby.
Munster announced that the hooker would be departing the province last week but Conor Murray had basically broken the news of Casey’s departure following the provinces win over Castres in round 6 of the Champions Cup pool stages.
