James Cronin added to Ireland squad with Dave Kilcoyne injury being reviewed

The Munster squad are taking a down week following a hectic couple of months.

Their next Guinness PRO14 clash is against Zebre at Thomond Park on Saturday, February 10.

The squad finished the nine-week block on a high thanks to yesterday’s 48-3 win over Castres and will host toulon in the Champions Cup quarter-finals.

James Cronin has been added to the Ireland squad while Dave Kilcoyne, who picked up a knee injury yesterday, is being reviewed by the Munster medical team in Limerick.

Munster’s Ireland internationals departed with the squad for a training camp in Oliva Nova in southern Spain and will return to Ireland on Friday.

The Munster contingent in the Ireland squad along with new addition Cronin are Andrew Conway, Keith Earls, Chris Farrell, Ian Keatley, Conor Murray, Peter O’Mahony, John Ryan, Rory Scannell and CJ Stander.

The majority of the squad will return to training at the High Performance Centre in UL next week.
