Limerick man Ger Dollard new CEO of Irish Greyhound Board

Ger Dollard has been chosen to be the Chief Executive Officer of the Irish Greyhound board.

Ger Dollard, who is originally from Limerick, has been announced the new CEO on the Irish Greyhound Board website today.

Dollard currently works for Clare County Council as the Deputy Chief Executive and director of Economic Development and is responsible for economic development, tourism planning in the municipal district of Ennis.

Working with Clare County Council, he has been very influential in the redevelopments at the cliffs of Moher and Loop Head. He also played a pivotal role in the running of Fleadh Ceoil Na h’Eireann over the last couple of years.

Dollard’s appointment comes after the former CEO, Geraldine Larkin, stepped down in December.
