LISTEN: Billy Lee “There was a buoyancy as you would expect after picking up our first win”.

“There was a buoyancy as you would expect after picking up our first win so that was good and the lads trained as they normally do with a pep in their step.”

“It makes it a good competition as you don’t have time to dwell so you have to get on with it. Different challenge with an away game. We go to Aughrim with a different team.. We look forward to it and we hope we can build on last weeks performance.”

“We are really going to focus on ourselves and bring these lads along. What Wicklow will be doing isn’t too much to the fore of my mind. It’s more about our preparation, what we are trying to find improvements and if we find those improvements that will stand us in good stead and give us a good chance up there.”

“It was great to get the victory but the manner in which we achieved it, gave it a higher level. We dug it out, we were down three points with three minutes to play.

“Thankfully we won a free and Sean McSweeney kicked it. So that was very pleasing for sure.”

Limerick have some injury struggles entering the game with Seamus O’Carroll definitely out.
