Mulcair Wonder the star of the show at Limerick Greyhound Stadium

Pat McNamara’s, Mulcair Wonder made it four wins from four when he emerged victorious

from the featured €2,000 ‘Roma Casino’ Kennedy Cup A3 550 Final at Limerick Greyhound Stadium over the weekend.

It was a strong finish from the near two-year-old , who dropped to fifth in the back stretch, before finding extra acceleration from the third bend.

He finished in a time of 28.98 beating second place Carrigmore Pogba and Pocket Job who finished in third.

In an earlier A1 550 Final, veteran trainer Denis O’Malley’s Redzer Rocco – owned by Pat Reddan of Killaloe – emerged a trap-to-line winner in a time of 30.31 seconds. This son of Paradise Madison-Paradise Maria earned a fine prize of €1,000 for its owner.

Next month, Limerick will host the Con & Annie Kirby Memorial Puppy Stake, the richest stake of its kind in the world with €80,000 in the winning prize fund.
