Munster Announce Champions Cup squad

Rassie Erasmus has selected  40 players that will be eligible to compete in the first rounds of fixtures.

New signing Chris Cloete and Gerbradt Grobler are included along with some familiar faces and some new academy prospects such as Sean O’Connor and Bill Johnston.

Some notable exclusions include the injured Conor Oliver and Dan Goggin, whilst development contract player Stephen Fitzgerald and Shannon hooker Duncan Casey have also been left out of the squad.

The pools for the 2017/2018 season

Munster begin their Champions cup campaign in less than three weeks time when they travel to France to take on Castres at the Pierre-Antoine Stadium on Sunday October 15th.
