Munster name starting lineup for opening Guinness PRO14 game of the season

Munster Head Coach Johann van Graan has handed debuts to three players for their Guinness PRO14 campaign against the Cheetahs at Thomond Park tommorrow.

Shane Daly, Mike Haley, Arno Botha are all named to start, while new out-half signing from Leinster, Joey Carbery could make his debut off the bench. Neil Cronin makes his first competitive PRO14 start in his second spell with the province.

Haley is joined in the back three by Daly and the in-form Darren Sweetnam, Dan Goggin and Rory Scannell are named at centre and JJ Hanrahan is alongside Cronin at half back.

Dave Kilcoyne, Mike Sherry and John Ryan make up and experienced front row, while Billy Holland captains the side alongside Jean Kleyn at second-row. The back row is made up of Dave O’Callaghan, Tommy O’Donnell and Botha.

Kick-off for the game at Thomond Park is at 5:15pm.
