Munster Schools Senior and Junior Cup fixtures confirmed

The first round ties have today been confirmed following the qualifiers

St. Clements defeated Colaiste Pobail Bheanntrai in the Senior Cup qualifier last week whilst Ard Scoil Ris also defeated the Cork school on the first try rule to secure their place in the first round of the Junior Cup after the side’s finished 12 all.

Of the five winners in the first round of the Cup’s four of them will get a home draw in the next round with one lucky side getting a buy into the quarter finals. The four home side’s will then compete in play off fixtures to decide the final two quarter final positions. Those play off ties will be played on the week beginning January 22nd.

The Junior Cup quarter-finals will take place between January 29 and Friday, February 2, with the Senior Cup quarter-finals being played the following week. The semi-finals of the Junior Cup will take place on the week beginning February 19 and the Senior Cup begin on the week of February 26.

The final of the Junior Cup take place on the week beginning March 5 with the Senior Cup final on Sunday, March 18.
