Nigel Owens to referee Munster’s crucial quarter-final clash with Edinburgh

Nigel Owens has been appointed as the man in charge when Munster welcome Edinburgh to Thomond Park for the Guinness Pro14 quarter-final.

Fellow Welsh Rugby Union officials Ben Whitehouse and Ian Davies have been named as the AssistanReferees while the TMO will be Jon Mason.

The winner of Saturday’s crucial clash will travel to face Leinster in Dublin for a place in the final.

Saturday’s match is expected to be a sell-out as it is the final home game of the season.

Kick off on Saturday in Thomond Park is 3.15pm.
