Munster A’ take on the blues tomorrow afternoon at Goldington road

Peter Malone has named his Munster A side today and makes three changes to last week’s starting XV following their loss to Bedford Blues.

Robin Copeland, Dave McCarthy and Ciaran Parker all come into the side with a total of 10 academy members included in the match-day 22.

Stephen Fitzgerald moves to the right wing with Dave Johnston moving to full back and Liam Coombes keeping his place on the left wing.

Dave McCarthy comes into the side at outside centre with Alex McHenry keeping his place at 12. James Hart and Bill Johnston will remain at half backs.

New recruit Jeremy Loughman moves from tighthead to loosehead with Mike Sherry and Ciaran Parker joining him in the front row.

Fineen Wycherly and Sean McCarthy keep their places in the second row with Copeland being joined by Sean O’Connor and Gavin Coombes in the backrow.

Rob O’Donovan, who joined the Munster Academy last month, is among the replacements along with Vincent O’Brien, Evan Mintern, Jack O’Sullivan, John Poland, Conor Fitzgerald and Jack Power.

Malone’s side now sit in second place in pool 1 following their first defeat of the campaign last weekend.

Replacements: Vincent O’Brien, Rob O’Donovan, Evan Mintern, Jack O’Sullivan, John Poland, Conor Fitzgerald, Jack Power.
