The incident occurred in last weekends Champions Cup fixture between Castres and Racing 92
At a disciplinary hearing in London on Wednesday, Racing 92’s Juan Imhoff was handed a five week ban following a head butt against Castres on Saturday meaning he will miss his side’s home clash with Munster in the Champions Cup in January.
The incident stemmed from Imhoff taking offence to a dangerous tackle on Maxine Machenaud by Rory Kockett in the 75th minute of the game.
The ban will see the Argentine miss both Top 14 and Champions Cup fixtures up until the 22nd of January.
