Munster recorded a well deserved 21-10 victory over the Glasgow Warriors at Musgrave Park at the weekend to remain second in Conference A and cut the gap to top spot to 12 points.
While catching Glasgow is still a tall order, the victory will no doubt set down a marker should the sides meet in the latter stages of the competition.
It was a bitter sweet night for Simon Zebo who said his goodbyes to the Cork crowd as he heads for pastures new next season with Racing 92.
