WATCH: Johann van Grann impressed with Munster’s broken field play.

Munster have had a decent opening to their Pro14 season and bar a torrid opening half against Glasgow in week 2, Johann van Graan’s side have played some attractive rugby.

The South African has had his first preseason with the side and the work on evolving Munster attacking game has been evident through the first 3 weeks.

Speaking at the weekly press briefing van Graan says he is happy with the work done so far but is always looking to improve.

“I think some of our skill work is improving, that pass that Darren O’Shea threw at the weekend (against Ospreys) is an indication that the small things are working well….

“The most impressive for me is our broken is our broken field play. For Anro Botha’s try we went hard in the D, turned it over, quality passing, quick breakdown and some good running lines.”
