WATCH: JvG “If you want to be king, you’re going to have to beat the king in his castle”

The Munster head coach says there’s no better way to prove their worth than by beating European champions Leinster in their own back yard. Munster travel to the RDS this Saturday in the Guinness Pro 14 Semi Final, in what promises to be an epic clash between the rivals. Munster will be keen to prevent their neighbours from picking up a domestic and European double.

“Leinster are the kings at this stage, so its a good opportunity for us to measure ourselves against the best.”

“That’s what we target every week is a full eighty minute performance. This might be our biggest challenge of the season coming up so that’s one of the things we have been working on quite well. I though the last two games, we started pretty well against Ulster and Edinburgh so hopefully we start well again this weekend.”

“Rugby is a strange game it doesn’t always happen that way buy we would like to think that if we start well it will put us in with a good shot.”
