WATCH – Mike Prendergast assesses Munster’s narrow loss to Racing 92

Former Munster scrum half Mike Prendergast breaks down last Sunday’s 34-30 European Champions Cup loss to Racing 92 at the U Arena.

The Oyonnax coach was impressed with the attacking play from Johann van Graan’s side, against the rush defence of Racing 92.

“Munster got a hold of the ball and showed what they can do, especially off of a couple of strike plays.”

“It showed what they can produce as a back line when they really have a cut.”

Prendergast also expressed his admiration for former Munster lock Donnacha Ryan’s play on the day.

“You’ve got to admire Donnacha Ryan for never giving up and it was him who got up there off the restart and managed to win that ball back and it was obviously a huge moment in the game.”
