WATCH: Rassie Erasmus gives first press conference as Boks head coach

Springboks coach Rassie Erasmus explains his plans for the year and looks ahead to the 2019 Rugby World Cup.

The former Munster Director of Rugby was finally confirmed as a replacement for the departing Allister Coetzee who left in acrimonious circumstances. Erasmus will now combine the role of head coach and director of rugby.

Erasmus was joined by his Jacques Nienaber his defensive coach at Munster as well as well as Strength and Conditioning guru Aled Walters.

Rassie’s first game in charge will be in Washington DC, when the Boks meet Wales on June 2, before they return home for a three test series against England later in June.
