WATCH – Tommy O’Donnell on a crucial fortnight for Munster Rugby

“If everything goes well in these two weeks then there’s lots to games to be had after that so it’s an important game this week. Building a bit of momentum, getting players game time and back into the fold.

“Lads who’d have been involved in the Irish setup who wouldn’t have been involved last week, not the front line starters obviously but you’d be hoping to get them back and back into the Munster terminology and build into next week.” Flanker Tommy O’Donnell on the importance of building this week in preparation for the visit of the Scarlets and Toulon over the next few weekends.

O’Donnell has recently returned for Munster following injury and will play his part in this crucial period for the province, he says he’s ready to go.

“It’s all about getting more game time, putting your hand up and doing as well as you can with the opportunities you’re given. We’re still in the hunt for trophies so players will be needed until the end of the season if everything goes well so you have to be there on peak performance and peak fitness.”
