WATCH – Tyler Bleyendaal “I lent him my tee one day in training and that was the end of that”

Tyler Bleyendaal is back in action after an injury last October kept him out for three months. Speaking at Munster’s press briefing this week, the New Zealander reflected on a hectic Ireland v Wales encounter in the Six Nations.

During that encounter, Bleyendaal’s half pack Conor Murray landed a late penalty to give Ireland a ten point lead. When asked if he had a new rival for the Munster kicking duties, Bleyendaal responded.

‘I lent him my tee one day in training and that was the end of that, I think he kicked one from half way at training and he got his confidence so he might be asking for a few more kicks, we’ll see how he goes’.
