Treaty United prepare for a second year in the First Division as fixtures are confirmed

The First Division fixtures were announced by the FAI last month.

The 2022 Airtricity League season kicks off on February 18th with 9 teams competing in the second tier as Treaty United look to go better than their maiden season where they reached the play-offs.

Treaty begin their campaign with a trip to Wexford FC at Ferrycarrig Park on Friday, February 18th. The Limerick side will play their home games at the Markets Field once again and return to the Garryowen venue on Friday, February 25th when they welcome Athlone Town.

Tommy Barrett’s side will be looking to reach the play-offs for the second consecutive season but will be vying with the likes of Waterford FC, Galway United and Longford Town in a condensed and competitive division.

Last year, Treaty finished fourth in the table, losing out to UCD in a two legged play-off with the Dublin outfit going on to win promotion.
