The former inter-county star says that there’s always a competitive edge between Limerick and Clare.
Limerick will take on The Banner this weekend but will swap the hurls for golf clubs as they face off in the Shannon Airport Cup.
Former all-star Ollie Moran will captain the Limerick team while two time All Ireland winner Brian Lohan leads Clare.
The Ahane clubman is expecting a competitive outing against Munster rivals Clare.
“There’s always a bit of a competitive edge between Limerick and Clare so while it might start off very informal and very ‘nicey nicey’, it might end up being a right battle altogether.”
The event which takes place in the Costa Del Sol and will follow the Ryder Cup format will run from November 18 – 20.
Listen below as Moran speaks about the unique event.
