Donnacha Ryan starts as Racing name impressive side for Munster clash

Racing play host to Munster on Sunday in a vital Champions Cup Pool 4 clash

Racing 92 have named their starting XV to take on Munster this Sunday in what is a hugely important tie for both sides in terms of finishing top of Pool 4 and guaranteeing a home quarter final.

The Parisians have named an unchanged starting fifteen to the side that dismantled reigning French Champions Clermont Auvergne 58-6 last weekend.

Former Munster stalwart Donnacha Ryan has been named in the second row following a powerful display last Saturday and he is joined in a pack that is littered with some of the worlds best including New Zealander Ben Tameifuna and Leone Nakarawa, who was recently voted third best player in the world by leading rugby publication ‘Rugby World’.

The 2016 Top 14 champions are captained by scrum half Maxine Machenaud with French Seven’s star Virimi Vakatawa keeping his spot at outside centre.

Their bench is also unchanged from Saturaday’s win with World Cup winner Joe Rokocoko and former French national team captain Dimitri Szarzewski among the replacements.
