Limerick FC bolster defence with signing of Darren Dennehy

Limerick FC have announced the signing of central defender Darren Dennehy, who was most recently with Saint Patrick’s Athletic.

The 29-year-old, who has previously played with Cork City will link up with his older brother Billy at the club.

Dennehy is another name added to a long list of signings that the club have confirmed following the appointment of new manager Tommy Barrett earlier this month.

Limerick get their SSE Airtricity Premier Division campaign up and running next month when the travel to the Showgrounds to face Sligo Rovers on Saturday, February 17.
