Munster Interim Head of Performance, PJ Wilson has said that months of preparation went into planning for the province’s trip to South Africa to ensure as little disruption as possible to the team’s training routine.
Munster travelled to the Southern Hemisphere earlier this week ahead of their round of Pro14 games against Southern Kings and the Cheetahs.
A programme was put together by various backroom members to help the team during the long haul flight and to prepare them for training conditions that followed.
“The travel ended up being seamless for the players so that they could transition straight into training here. We make it as easy as we can for them.”
Munster face Southern Kings this Saturday in Outeniqua Park with kick off at 7.35pm.
