Limerick were unlucky not to come away with more after their 1-1 draw away to Derry on Tuesday evening in Buncrana. Limerick took the lead in the 12th minute through skipper Shane Duggan, but were undone by a fine Barry McNamee free kick.
With Limerick travelling to Tallaght on Friday to face 6th place Shamrock Rovers. A win in Dublin would be a huge result for interim Manager Willi Boland who is yet to taste defeat in the League since taking over from Martin Russell four games ago.
After the game, Boland spoke about his tenure thus far and looking forward to this Fridays game in Tallaght. Check out the audio here, courtesy of Limerick Football Club.
