Ireland made history on Saturday morning as they overcame Australia, 20-16 in Sydney to secure a first series win Down Under since 1979. We examine the series as a whole as well as casting an eye over a superb year for Irish rugby.

While the rugby was enthralling, there was some controversy in the June test window regarding some less than impressive refereeing performances. We take a closer look at some of the recurring issues as well as looking forward to the 2018/2019 season.
