Limerick senior hurling boss John Kiely has said all season that he has been looking for incremental improvements from his side as they progressed through the campaign.
This philosophy is no different heading into the biggest game from a Limerick hurling point of view since 2007.
“We’ll be looking to be a better team the next time we go out again. We did look for incremental improvements in the team right throughout the whole season and whilst we had a dip against Clare in Ennis in our performance I think we would have shown the ability to step up right throughout the year.”
