WATCH: CJ Stander wary of Castres backlash “It’s a difficult place to play”

Munster travel to Castres this Saturday after comprehensively overcoming the French side in Thomond Park last Sunday.

Munster eased to a 30-5 victory in Limerick where their dominance was evident from the outset.

Although Munster will be disappointed not to have come away from the game without a bonus point, they will have aspirations of a similar performance in France.

Castres however, are the reigning Top 14 champions and will know they need a win, finding themselves six points behind their opponents who top the table on 11 points.

CJ Stander is under no illusions of the task at hand for Munster this weekend and expects another bruising battle against the French champions who are bound to be backed by rapturous home support.

“It’s a difficult place to play. They are a very physical team there and they enforce their game plan on you. Look to get a win is the main goal.”

“Take it game by game for sure. Europe is a competition that can surprise you. If you don’t concentrate on yourself, other teams will go by you.”
