Prospect manager Derek Braddish says that he is happy with the way the premier division has went for his side so far but feels there is improvement to come for his squad.
Prospect are currently eight in the premier division from 12 teams and considering it is the club’s first season back at this level in 20 years following last year’s promotion from 1A, Derek admits his players have responded well
I’m reasonably happy. We are three quarters of the way through the league campaign and we have 14 points.
We are probably four or five points off where we would like to be and what some of our performances probably deserved. We have dropped points late in three or four games.
Performance wise I am quite happy because there are a lot of guys playing their first year in premier. Their attitude has been very good. The lack of experience can hurt you at this level but we have tried to eradicate silly mistakes.
Braddish also speaks about the teams style of play, the defeat to Pearse Celtic in the Munster Junior Cup and plans for the rest of the season.
