WATCH: Francis Kennedy on All-Ireland opponents Waterford and final nerves

Limerick’s U-16 camogie team face into today’s All-Ireland Final against Waterford at 2pm today in Nenagh.

Manager Francis Kennedy is expecting his side to deal with big game nerves against a team that has been in impressive form.

“We kind of left that (nerves) in the semi final I think. The girls were extremely nervous coming into the semi final.

“In the first half you could feel the nerves. I think the girls’ attitude now is butterflies yes, but nerves, leave them at the door.

“Waterford are a very good side. They won their side handily enough. I would assume that they are the favourites based on results.

“On a final day it depends on what team comes out with more hunger and it will truly be down to work rate.”
