Limerick captain Grace Lee has hailed the impact made by the county’s minors on the junior team ahead of Sunday’s All-Ireland Premier Junior Final against Kerry at Croke Park.
The junior team have been helped greatly since a host of the minor players signed on to play after their own All-Ireland bid ended with defeat to Laois.
“They have had a huge impact. It’s actually been incredible. They got to the All-Ireland ‘B’ Final against Laois and are superb camogie players.
“They are only 17 and 18 and their maturity levels are fantastic. They are really, really cool and don’t really do nerves.
“They just want to go out and play camogie and that has rubbed off on the entire team.”
