WATCH: Magee “The win reflected the possession we had”

Ballynanty manager Donal Magee was pleased with the professional manner in which his side disposed of Mungret Regional in the Touhy Cup on Thursday night.

Although they were heavy favourites heading into the game, Ballynanty were well aware of the threat Mungret could pose following their impressive 3-0 victory over Aisling Annacotty just four days earlier.

We asked the lads to work hard first and foremost tonight and after that we knew chances would come with the bit of quality we have with Connor (Ellis) and the lads.

We changed it around a little bit tonight and got two great goals from Kevin Nolan. I was a bit disappointed with the goal that was ruled onside and then offside but at the end of the day we got the result and it didn’t cost us anything.
