After playing out a thrilling draw three weeks ago, the teams continued where they left out trading scores in the opening stages.

The sides were level six times in the opening half with Shaun Barry and Paudie Leahy keeping their sides score ticking over courtesy of placed balls.

With the aid of a slight breeze, KP notched three of the final four scores of the half to take a 0-10 to 0-8 lead into the break.

KP had the lead out to 0-14 to 0-11 with twenty minutes remaining before the Rockies hit their purple patch.

A brace of points was followed by a Colm O’Keefe goal to put them into the lead.

From here Blackrock would ease to victory, outscoring their opponents 0-5 to 0-2 down the stretch.
