Blackrock manager Jimmy Quilty spoke after his side’s agonising 2-point loss to Fr O’Neills in the Munster Intermediate club championship this afternoon.
The Limerick side drew level late in normal time to force the game into extra time but Cork side just got the edge on them in the opening minutes of the first period.
Quilty cut a disappointed but proud figure after the game.
“Pure disappointment, we asked them to leave it all out there and I think they did but it doesn’t hide the disappointment”
