39 man squad for U21 Championship confirmed

39 man squad for U21 championship confirmed.

Limerick have named their panel squad for the U21 Championship.

Seven of the panel played against Clare in the Munster Senior hurling championship and they will be expected to lead from the front. Those players are Cian Lynch, Kyle Hayes, Sean Finn, Peter Casey, Tom Morrissey, Barry Nash and Aaron Gillane.

However the success of the U25 side in winning the inaugural Munster reserve championship has given Donnelly some selection headaches. The wins over Clare and Waterford featured nearly every man on the 21s squad barring those on senior duty.

Thursday’s quarter final has a 7.30 start in the Gaelic Grounds and is televised live on TG4. If Limerick emerge victorious, the will play Clare at the Gaelic Grounds on July 12th in a semi final.
