Draws made for 2020 Senior and Intermediate Football championships

Last night the draws for next years Senior and Intermediate Football championships were made.

Senior Championship

County Senior champions Newcastle West were drawn in Group 1 alongside Ballysteen, Fr Caseys. Drom Broadford, Monaleen and newly promoted Galtee Gaels.

Group 2 pits Adare, Ballylanders, Oola, St Kierans, Galbally and Na Piarsaigh together.


Intermediate Championship

The draw for the Intermediate championship saw a hugely competitive group one announced.

Down to play in Group 1 are St Senans, Rathkeale, Gerald Griffins, Mungret St Pauls and Glin.

Senans, Rathkeale and St Patricks are the last three teams to be relagated from the Senior championship while Griffins contested the county intermediate final in 2019.

In the other side of the draw in Group 2 is; Claughaun, Kildimo Pallaskenry, Bruff, Pallasgreen, Mountcollins and Junior Champions Monaleen.
