In Division 1B, Shannon impressed with a 31-13 bonus point victory over league leaders Highfield in Thomond Park. ‘The Parish’ move to sixth position, just a single point off playoff territory.
Old Crescent continued their push for top spot of Division 2A after edging past Buccaneers 12-10 at Dubarry Park. The tightly contested win on the road sees Crescent narrow the gap to 13 points from league leaders MU Barnhall.
UL Bohemian secured a bonus-point win over Cashel at UL’s 4G pitch.
The ‘Red Robins’ 28-24 victory over the Tipperary club sees Tom Hayes side avoid the relegation zone to sit in eighth position with 14 points.
In Division 2C, Bruff suffered a ten-point defeat to Tullamore in Spollanstown. The Limerick side’s 13-3 loss means they drop to ninth in the table.
