WATCH: The Gerry Piggott Collection of Limerick GAA Memorabilia

Recorded prior to the Covid-19 lockdown, Dr Matthew Potter of the Limerick.ie LM – Limerick Museum took us through some of the amazing memorabilia in the Gerry Piggott collection which contains key items from the history of LimerickGAA

From Limerick’s early All Ireland success in Football and hurling, Ballylanders club founder Frank B Dinneen and his role in the purchase of Croke Park for the GAA, right up to hurleys used in the 1930’s and in the successful 1973 campaign, there are some fantastic exhibits.

The collection is definitely work a visit once we get back to normality.
