There was a further boost for League of Ireland clubs this afternoon as Bank of Ireland were announced as an associate sponsor.
The FAI announced the deal on their official Twitter page and the length of the deal is three years. The organisation were delighted with the new development and FAI CEO Johnathan Hill welcomed Bank of Ireland’s involvement.
“This is another important day for League of Ireland football and another significant boost for our domestic game,” said FAI Chief Executive Officer Jonathan Hill.

The agreement between the FAI and Bank of Ireland will cover the Premier and First Divisions along with the Women’s National League and FAI Senior Cup, as confirmed by Henry Drummer, Chief Marketing Officer of Bank of Ireland.
