Ireland Munster headline : Sport TV Listings for the weekend

Once again, the Irish Rugby team will take much of the focus this weekend as they look for a first win in this year’s Six Nations on their trip to Rome. Munster are also in action on Friday night as they travel to Cardiff while there is a host of action across the globe to look forward to.

Rugby

Friday

Munster travel to Cardiff to take on the blues which is live on TG4 and EirSport 1 from 8pm.

Also on TG4, Connacht take on Benetton from 5.30pm.

Saturday

Ireland are in Rome for their third round Six Nations clash with Italy. The hosts are looking for a first win in 30 as Ireland seek a first victory of the campaign. This game is live from 2.15pm on Virgin Media 1 and ITV.

Elsewhere in the Six Nations, Wales host England from 4.45 live on Virgin Media and BBC.

Sunday

Leinster take on the Glasgow Warriors live on EirSport 1 at 5.30pm.


Soccer

Saturday

League leaders Man City take on West Ham at 12.30pm on BT Sport. West Brom face Brighton on Sky Sports Main Event from 3pm. Leeds meet Aston Villa on the same channel at 5.30pm. Newcastle face Wolves on the same channel at 8pm later that night.

Sunday

At 12pm Crytsal Palace meet Fulham on BBC 1, while Arsenal face Leicester at the same time on BT Sport. Tottenham take on Burnley at 2pm on Sky Sports Main Event. Chelsea then meet Man United on that same channel at 4.30pm. Liverpool and Sheffield United round out the action on Sky Sports Main Event at 7.15pm.


Ladies Football

TG4 will provide live coverage of the Ladies Football Awards as the Ladies Football teams of the year in the senior, intermediate and junior grades, along with the Player of the Year awards, are announced, starting at 7.15pm.

Live coverage from the Autralian Football League Women’s with plenty of Irish ladies involved live on TG4 from 5.10pm.

Sunday

Another round of action takes place on TG4 from 2pm.

Coverage of the WGC-Workday Championship in Florida is on Sky Sports Golf throughout the weekend.
