WATCH: Munster’s Fineen Wycherley on ‘hugely special’ Ireland debut

Munster’s Fineen Wycherley made his senior Ireland debut when he came off the bench in the 71-10 hammering of the USA in the Aviva on Saturday night.

It was a proud moment for the 23-year-old who replaced Ryan Baird after 58 minutes in this huge ten-try Ireland win.

The last time Fineen Wycherley spent time in Ireland camp, he was on a mission to soak up as much information as possible in a short space of time.

The last time Fineen Wycherley spent time in Ireland camp, he was on a mission to soak up as much information as possible in a short space of time.

When Andy Farrell called the West Cork man in to train with the squad for the elongated finish to last year’s Six Nations, he did so with this summer’s tests in mind.

Wycherley spoke of his hopes to kick on and take advantage of the opportunities he is given.

“It has been an unbelievable three weeks, really enjoyed it. Hopefully I can kick on again and get back here in a few months.”
