FIXTURES: Round Two club hurling championship fixtures confirmed after opening day weekend

The second round of the Limerick Club Hurling Championships take place this weekend.

In Section A of the Limerick SHC, Patrickswell and Kilmallock will be in action again after opening day defeats. The ‘Well will face Ahane while Kilmallock meet newly promoted Ballybrown.

In Section B of the top tier, Monaleen will meet Premier Intermediate champions Kildimo Pallaskenry in their first game at the grade with Blackrock taking on Garryspillane. Round one winners South Liberties and Adare earn a week off.

The fixtures in the Premier Intermediate Championship were already set with Mungret St Pauls, Glenroe, Newcastle West and Cappamore picking up opening day wins.

In the Intermediate Championship, Granagh Ballingarry, Hospital Herbertstown, Knockaderry and Effin kick off their season against the Round One losers.

There is also a full set of fixtures in the Junior A Hurling Championship.

  • Kilmallock v Ballybrown; Saturday September 11th in the LIT Gaelic Grounds at 7.30pm.
  • Patrickswell v Ahane; Sunday September 12th in the LIT Gaelic Grounds at 4.45pm
  • Blackrock v Garryspillane; Sunday September 12th in the LIT Gaelic Grounds at 1.30pm

  • Glenroe v Newcastle West; Friday September 10th in Mick Neville Park at 7.30pm.
  • Dromin Athlacca v Bruff; Sunday September 12th in Kilmallock at 1pm.

Nick Greene County Intermediate Hurling Championship

  • Granagh Ballingarry v Tournafulla; Sunday September 12th in Feenagh at 12pm.
  • Hospital Herbertstown v Croom; Saturday September 11th in Bruff at 6pm.
