Kenny Names 26-man Irish Squad Ahead of Portugal and Luxembourg ties

Republic of Ireland manager Stephen Kenny has named a 26-man squad for the upcoming 2022 World Cup qualification ties with Portugal and Luxembourg.

Captain Seamus Coleman returns having missed the wins over Azerbaijan and Qatar while Aaron Connolly misses out on selection. Ireland face Portugal at the Aviva Stadium on Thursday November 11th at 7.45 before travelling to Luxembourg on Sunday November 14th to face a side who grabbed a famous 0-1 victory at the Aviva Stadium last year.

Kenny’s side earned their first back to back victories when defeating Azerbaijan and Qatar last month and will be hoping to build on positive performances when Christiano Ronaldo and his Portuguese teammates come to Dublin

Below is the squad for the qualifiers.
