New Zealand have revealed their match-day 23 to face Ireland this Saturday at the Aviva Stadium.
The All Blacks are fresh off the back of two Autumn Nations wins against Wales and Italy before facing what is arguably their toughest task Ireland. All Blacks head Coach Ian Foster revealed a star studded match-day squad to face the Irish, with mercurial out-half Beauden Barrett at the centre of it all.
Barrett scored two tries in their Autumn Nations Series opener against Wales two weeks ago and has maintained a 64% kicking accuracy in 2021. However, kicking responsibilities will likely fall to his brother Jordie, who starts at fullback on Saturday.
The team boasts a wealth of weapons throughout the backline, such as wingers Sevu Reece and Will Jordan, and centres Anton Lienert-Brown and Rieko Ioane. There’s also plenty muscle within the pack as captain Sam Whitelock is joined by Brodie Retallick in the second row. Breakdown specialist Adie Savea starts at number eight between fellow back rowers Dalton Papalii and Ethan Blackadder
The All Blacks bench is as talented as ever as replacement out-half Richie Mo’unga will likely finish the game in place of Barrett, he is joined by other well known All Blacks such as David Havili, Akira Ioane and Dane Coles.
Ireland face the All Blacks this Saturday November 13th in the Aviva Stadium, with kick-off at 3:15pm.
