No Limerick teams in action this week, but there was still plenty of action in the Irish basketball first division
Grand Hotel Malahide sit atop of the north conference table, their stunning win over Drogheda Wolves ties them with McGowan Tolka Rovers and Ulster University at nine points, but they claim the top spot being the only unbeaten team in the conference.
The Sligo All-Stars, Dublin Lions and Drogheda Wolves make up the middle of the table with six points each, while the Titans and LYIT Donegal remain winless.
North Conference
The UCC Demons are tied with the Limerick Sport Eagles for the top spot in the south conference, the two sides remain unbeaten with nine points a piece. IT Carlow and Fr. Matthews are not far behind, both teams have six points to their name but its Carlow who stay unbeaten in two games.
The Limerick Celtics share the middle of the table with Scotts Lakers Killarney, each team has three points but it’s Killarney who have the poorest record thus far out of the two teams, earning just one win in three games.
The Portlaoise Panthers, Killarney Cougars and WIT Vikings sit on the conference’s bottom spots, with each team awaiting their first win of the season.
