Cian Lynch Claims Second HOTY Award

Limerick’s Cian Lynch is the 2021 Hurler of the Year capping off a stellar season for the Patrickswell native who also claimed an All Star on the night.

The PWC All-Stars ceremony was held in RTÉ Studios without the rest of the award winners or an audience for the second year running, due to Covid-19 restrictions.

The award made a little bit of history as Lynch becoming only the second player after Henry Shefflin (3 HOTY Awards) to win the accolade more than once.

Lynch has been a key factor in Limerick’s success over the past three years scoring 6 points in the year’s All Ireland Final while playing a key roles in Limerick’s goals on the day.
