John Lillis has a panel of 44 to choose from ahead of the start of the season.

New Limerick senior camogie manager John Lillis has unveiled his maiden squad ahead of this weekend’s National League opener with Kilkenny.

Lillis has opted for 42-players with two more on a development panel. The team will be captained by Marion Quaid with Aisling Scanlon as vice-captain.

He will be without a number of key figures from the 2021 side, including last year’s captain Karen O’Leary who was named on the football panel.

2021 county champions Newcastle West have only one representative in Rebecca Delee who is also a part of the senior football squad. Niamh Ryan and Noelle Curtin will also play dual for Limerick in the coming year.

Limerick kick off their season this weekend when they take on Kilkenny in Callan on Sunday at 2pm. They then travel to Cork in three weeks time before facing Clare at home on March 12.
